Evaluations & Tools
Psychosocial Recovery Coaches do not perform medical or diagnostic tests but instead use recovery-oriented assessments to understand a participant’s strengths, needs, and goals. These assessments help identify areas where the participant may require support to increase independence, social participation, and resilience

Recovery-Oriented Planning Assessments

Capacity-Building Assessments
These assessments focus on identifying skills and abilities that can be strengthened. The coach evaluates the participant’s ability to perform these tasks and develops strategies to enhance their capacity

Strengths and Resilience Mapping
Coaches assess the participant’s personal strengths, coping mechanisms, and support networks. This helps in designing interventions that leverage existing capabilities and build resilience
Coaches work with participants to explore their hopes, aspirations, and personal goals, creating a recovery plan that aligns with their NDIS plan.
Recovery-Oriented Planning Assessments
Recovery coaches assess how participants interact with mainstream, community, and clinical services, identifying gaps or barriers in accessing supports.
Strengths and Resilience Mapping
Coaches monitor the participant’s progress against their recovery plan, evaluating improvements in independence, social participation, and goal achievement.
